Executive Profile

Innovative individual who has received numerous Design awards and patents (25) in Industrial Design, and now also recognized as a Photo Journalist.  Expert knowledge in Industrial Design, Human Factors/Design Research, and GUI/User Experience Design.  Over 35 years in Design, as a Corp Executive, Strategic/Tactical Designer and as a Consultant.  Continue to support Design Education by guest lecturing and jurying at Univ of Houston,  Industrial Design department.  Now focused on protecting Design IP integrity with my expertise as an Expert Witness in Design.

  • Elected to IDSA's Board of Directors as their Secretary/Treasurer beginning May 1, 2015 for 2 years
  • Published my first Photo Essay entitled "Man and Nature in Harmony", shot in Singapore Gardens, in the Winter edition of INNOVATION magazine, 2015
  • Member of the 2014 IDSA National Conference Planning Committee
  • Juror of Sr and Jr ID project competitions (Merit Award, etc.) at Univ of Houston ID Dept, and guest lecturer (2003 to present)

  • Responsibilities included Image Strategy that supports Biz Strategy and Brand Image. directing Tactical and Strategic Design teams, budgeted resources for group, as well as customer experience

  • Developed Design Language for a range of divergent CPQ Enterprise products, software and services
